Last summer I attended a training course to learn to perform Climate Change Vulnerability Assessments.  The course, which is based on a guide to climate change vulnerability assessment developed jointly by the NWF, DOD, NPS, USFWS, USFS, NOAA, and USGS entitled Scanning the Conservation Horizon is being offered again in several locations throughout the US.  Right now, climate change may not be an integral part of your planning exercises because the development of data to support those activities is currently underway.  If you’re interested in being prepared to utilize data sets about future year temperature, precipitation, and sea level rise into your own plans or decisions, then this is a great opportunity.
