If you are a forester, private landowner, or state/federal agency forest manager, then you will want to see the jaw-dropping results of a project assessing “Changes in Forested Landscapes of the Gulf Coastal Plains & Ozarks under Alternative Climate & Urban Growth Scenarios,” sponsored by the Gulf Coastal Plains & Ozarks Landscape Conservation Cooperative.  Why?  Because for 48 tree species (hardwood and pine), 9 different climate, forest management, and urban growth scenarios showed most significant changes occurring by 2100, with some species being extirpated from their current ranges while others expand. Learn about options for response management (assist species migration) versus resilience management (encouraging species persistence). The Society of American Foresters has pre-approved this webinar for one Continuing Forestry Education credit hour (category 1).

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
