Objective

Develop a seamless LiDAR coverage for the entire South AtlanticLCC

Priority species, ecosystems, ecosystem services, and cultural resources

Expected product

Seamless GIS layers based on processed LiDAR data (e.g.,elevation, canopy heights, solar irrandiance) for the entireSALCC   

Timeline

Current progress: The state of North Carolina is nowcomplete and the coast of South Carolina and Virgina are now inprogress. A relatively complete coastal layer may be ready beforeFebruary 2012.

 

February 2012 (tentative): Seamless coverage based onall available LiDAR data. This should include the entire coast andmost inland areas.
