We’ve been hearing from a bunch of folks wanting to know the best way to get “plugged in” to the SALCC. While we hope to have some additional (and more formal) ways to get involved in the future, there are already a number of ways you can help influence LCC decisions and keep up with LCC progress right now:

  • Join the website. Not only will you get a monthly email newsletter on LCC progress but we will also contact you periodically to review and inform decisions and priorities of the LCC
  • Join a group on the website (e.g., rivers and streams, GIS). We will periodically contact members of groups to review and inform decisions and priorities of the LCC related to that issue group
  • Create a group on the website. If don’t see an group on the website that would benefit from cross-taxa, landscape-scale collaboration you can create one. The fastest way to get an issue on the radar of the LCC staff is to get some folks together in a group on the website
  • If you have any ideas, concerns, questions, or suggestions for us you can always contact us
