For the last several years, the Triangle Climate and Landscape’ Researchers Brown Bag has provided a chance for anyone in the Raleigh area working in the fields of landscape conservation or climate change to meet face-to-face, share lessons learned, and find opportunities to collaborate. The format has changed somewhat over time, but the South Atlantic LCC, Southeast Regional Climate Hub, and Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center have been keeping it going as a lunch meeting on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Now, to accommodate a few office space shifts and hopefully reach some new people, we’re switching things up.
The Brown Bag is now “Climate and Conservation Coffee!” Please join us at 9 am on the first Thursday of the month at the Cup A Joe in Mission Valley shopping center across from NC State’s main campus. Our first meeting will be Thursday September 6th.
Think of this as a trial run of a new format, so if it isn’t meeting our shared needs as a community for any reason, we can always make another change! Hope to see you in September. If you want to receive a monthly reminder about the event, you can sign up here: http://goo.gl/forms/0XfVU1UVwF
