The Social Coast Forum will be taking place from February 5-8, 2018 in Charleston, SC.
Economic, social, and cultural values and beliefs greatly influence behavior and decision-making. Understanding people’s feelings and perceptions can have a tremendous impact on coastal management efforts.
The Social Coast Forum is all about the “people” side of coastal management. If you have an experience, tool, methodology or expertise to share, here is the chance. Submit an abstract, or two, today! Abstracts are due September 29, 2017. Acceptance letters will be emailed in early November 2017.
Session types will include short and sweet, oral, storytelling: the stories that no one tells, tackle-the-issue facilitated discussion, tool demonstration and job aid round table and on-the-spot skill building.
