Title: Landscape change in the South Atlantic
Description: Urbanization and sea-level rise are projected to change the South Atlantic landscape in dramatic ways by 2050. We will look at how these changes are likely to affect indicators of the South Atlantic. An in-depth example will be provided to show future possibilities for longleaf pine savanna with the threat of increased urbanization in the region. The effect of sea-level rise on coastal systems will also be explored.
Time and Location: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm in 3213 Jordan Hall Addition on NCSU’s Main Campus
