Webinar: April 25th 2016, 1-2 PM Central
The GCPO LCC is in the process of developing a Conservation Blueprint for the region. The Blueprint effort builds on the Integrated Science Agenda to begin designing sustainable landscapes for the GCPO. As part of the process, we produced draft map products ranking opportunities for conservation actions (maintenance, protection and restoration) for 9 habitat systems. These draft products were unveiled in a series of stakeholder engagement workshops held around the region in February and March. The workshops provided valuable perspectives on the utility of the products and the clarity of the decision rules that produced them. However, we want to obtain input from as many stakeholders as possible. In this webinar, GCPO Science Coordinator Todd Jones-Farrand will provide a brief overview of the Blueprint process and demonstrate how to use the Conservation Planning Atlas (CPA) to provide comments on draft blueprint products, as well as view the comments of others, with time for questions.
